TWO New Equipment Lines for 2023: VENTRAC and BARRETO!
Exciting news at CRE! We have added TWO new equipment lines for 2023!
We don’t add equipment lines lightly. In line with our mission to bring you the absolute best brands of equipment, we have added VENTRAC and BARRETO to our line card! Also, in keeping with our customer-focused business model, these brands will be available in all four phases of what we do: rental, sales, parts, and service.
The Ventrac brand was launched in 1996, a brainchild of the Steiner family. The Ventrac tractor is an articulating-frame base unit—built in Ohio—which supports a multi-tool platform comprising more than 30 front-mounted (and some rear-mounted) attachments. They are designed for superior balance and stability on all kinds of terrain. I have personally operated a Ventrac, and they are maneuverable, have excellent visibility over the front-mounted attachments, are easy on existing turf, and are AMAZING on a grade or hillside. With American ingenuity & construction, awesome flexibility with so many different attachments, and rock-solid stability on uneven terrain, these tools fit naturally into CRE’s portfolio of high-quality brand offerings. Barreto is a LaGrande, Oregon born & bred brand, launched in 1984. Their founder, Greg Barreto, was working in a rental yard at the time and was frustrated with the amount of breakdowns & subsequent expensive repair work to the rental tillers. From there, he became a rental industry pioneer in ALL-HYDRAULIC tools. Barreto offers tillers, trenchers, stump grinders and even a new mini-skid steer/compact utility loader with NO belts, chains, or gears. Barreto tools are designed to withstand the daily torture-test that is rental duty, and few machines have the working longevity of a piece of Barreto equipment. With excellent design, unmatched durability, and local construction & support, Barreto was another easy choice to add to CRE’s offerings moving into the future.
